    Stephanie M. Halesworth, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. She earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. Stephanie is the Founder and Director of Manhattan Mental Health Counseling Services, PLLC.

    As an empathetic and dedicated clinician, Stephanie is passionate about fostering a therapeutic environment where individuals can safely explore their personal challenges and begin meaningful growth. Her integrative approach blends techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.

    Stephanie specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and relational concerns. She is committed to helping her clients gain introspective insight, build resilience, and make lasting, positive changes in their lives.

    In her clinical work, Stephanie remains grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when built on empathy, trust, and collaboration. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe to be vulnerable, explore difficult emotions, and engage fully in the therapeutic process.

    As the leader of Manhattan Mental Health Counseling Services, Stephanie is dedicated to ensuring that every client who walks through the door receives thoughtful, compassionate care. She works closely with her team of clinicians to maintain a supportive and client-centered practice, where the therapeutic experience is marked by empathy, and genuine human connection.

    She offers individual psychotherapy and couples counseling sessions, Monday through Friday.

    Associate Psychotherapist

    Megan Smith, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of NY. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. 

    Megan’s therapeutic approach is integrative, utilizing techniques from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy. Megan works with her clients to build confidence, improve communication skills, and develop insight in a judgement-free environment . Megan has specialized in working with clients who have struggled with mood and anxiety disorders, impulse control, and relational issues.

  • Rachel Esha. MHC- LP

    Associate Psychotherapist

    Rachel Esha, MHC-LP is a Mental Health Counselor based in New York. She holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College.

    Rachel works from a relational, humanistic, and somatic framework to support clients in exploring anxiety, depression, relational challenges, and personality rigidity through a trauma-informed lens. Believing that unresolved wounds are often stored in the body and shaped by generational trauma, she creates a safe, attuned space for healing. Rachel helps clients access inner truth, regulate their nervous system, and integrate parts of themselves silenced by societal pressures—fostering deeper self-awareness, emotional presence, and personal empowerment.

    Rachel offers individual psychotherapy sessions Monday through Thursday.

  • Lamisa Rab, MHC-LP

    Associate Psychotherapist

    Lamisa Rab, MHC-LP is a Mental Health Counselor in the State of NY. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from The City College of NY. 

    Lamisa takes an integrative approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, as well as various relational modalities. Through a combination of these different approaches, she hopes to facilitate healing by helping clients better understand themselves and the systems around us. Lamisa has specialized in working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and relational issues. She believes that establishing a respectful, warm, and genuine relationship between the therapist and client is vital to fostering growth.

    Senior Staff Psychotherapist

    Jessica London Laed, LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine.

    Certified in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Jessica uses neuroscience and behavioral psychology to help clients break free from unconscious patterns and make empowered choices. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-worth, relationship wounds, and heartbreak recovery. She helps couples navigate conflict, betrayal, and disconnection—not to restore the past, but to build deeper, conscious partnerships. Rather than fixing symptoms, Jessica sees them as an invitation to self-discovery and meaningful connection.

    Jessica’s mission is to show that emotional pain isn’t pathology—it’s a message pointing toward growth, connection, and authentic living.

    Jessica offers individual psychotherapy sessions as well as couples counseling sessions Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.

    Raven Bowie, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California.

    Raven brings a compassionate, integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy. Her work is grounded in a holistic understanding of physical, emotional, and environmental health, with particular attention to the impact of trauma, attachment, and complex interpersonal dynamics.

    Raven specializes in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, adoption-related concerns, maternal and parental mental health challenges, and relationship issues.

    She offers individual psychotherapy sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (telehealth).
